Sold and priced as a pair, you get two preload collars that increase preload by 10mm

These fit KYB cartridges with 24mm mid valve pistons and 28mm cylinder outside diameter.
Install them between the spring perch stop collar and the spring perch as shown in the product photo to increase your fork spring preload or to make up for shorter springs and perches.

These do not fit later model cartridges with 25mm mid valve pistons and 29mm cylinder outside diameter.
